Be prepared! Delays in settlement do occur…

Settlement can be delayed for many reasons, paperwork not received and finalized, title’s missing, ID not finalized or the bank is not ready to settle.

The delay can occur from many sources including the settlements agents, banks or even the clients (both sellers and buyers)

Our tip is to NOT book any removalist’s or contractors until settlement has occurred.

We know buyers are extremely excited to move into their new home however we don’t want you to be disappointed should a delay occur. Sellers do not have to grant possession prior to settlement.
